About the Practice

Internists bring patients an understanding of wellness (disease prevention and the promotion of health), women’s health, substance abuse, mental health, as well as effective treatment of common problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system and reproductive organs.

Our Team

In today’s complex medical environment, internists take pride in caring for their patients for life — in the office or clinic, during hospitalization and intensive care, and in nursing homes. When other medical specialists, such as surgeons or obstetricians, are involved, they coordinate their patient’s care and manage difficult medical problems associated with that care.

Dr. Ali Jilani

Headshot of Dr. Ali Jilani

Born in Pakistan and raised in the Middle East, my passion for medicine was sparked early on by my mother, a dedicated physician. Her influence inspired me to return to my home country to pursue a career in medicine. In 2011, I enrolled at Dow International Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed my medical degree in 2017. Around that time, my family relocated to San Diego, California.

In 2021, I began my internal medicine residency at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, where I had the opportunity to work alongside remarkable physicians like Dr. Levine. During my time in Beaumont, I was touched by the warmth and hospitality of the Southeast Texas community, which inspired me to give back to the place that had supported me over the past three years. I am now thrilled to join Golden Triangle Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, eager to serve a community I have come to deeply appreciate.

Outside of medicine, I am a passionate fan of critically acclaimed movies and TV shows and proudly consider myself a bit of a movie buff.
